The role

Amity International School Abu Dhabi seeks a well-qualified, passionate and experienced Business & Economics Teacher to enrich its diverse learning community and provide quality instruction. The successful candidate must have experience teaching GCSE and A level Business & Economics together with a proven track record of attaining outstanding results. The role also includes the teaching and coordination of BTEC Business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics or a related field
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years' experience teaching Business Studies and Economics in an international school setting
• Experience teaching the British curriculum or an international curriculum
• Strong knowledge of current business and economics affairs
• Experience developing engaging lessons that promote critical thinking
• Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for diverse learners
• Experience using technology to enhance instruction
• Cultural sensitivity and global awareness
• Ability to contribute to cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school events
• Experience in assessment and monitoring student progress
