The role

ABC British Academy is seeking an exceptional and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join its Secondary School from August 2026. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that enable students to achieve outstanding outcomes. The ability to teach Economics would be an advantage but is not essential.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies to students in Key Stages 4 and 5 within a British curriculum environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that promote strong academic outcomes.
• Support students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Contribute to a culture of academic excellence and student achievement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Business Studies within a British curriculum environment.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Business Studies.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for student achievement.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
