The role

We seek to appoint an outstanding Chemistry Teacher with a start date of January 2027 or earlier. The successful candidate will teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular programmes and community initiatives.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of a B.Ed. or a B.A. with PGCE in Chemistry, together with QTS.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Embody a growth mindset, being reflective, adaptable and solution-focused.
• Be creative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking, with the ability to inspire students.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
• Use data and assessment effectively to inform decision-making and raise student attainment.
• Show ambition to contribute to a world-class school environment and a strong commitment to professional growth.
• Be passionate about providing enriched learning opportunities both in and beyond the classroom.
• Be tech-savvy and able to deliver engaging learning experiences through innovative tools, including state-of-the-art AI suites.
