The role

We are seeking a Computer Science/IT Teacher to join GEMS Founders School, Masdar City from August 2026. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both early-career teachers seeking international experience and experienced educators looking to advance their careers within a world-class international school.

Requirements

• Hold a BEd or bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science/IT, or an equivalent qualification, or a PGCE with QTS
• Have proven experience of teaching at primary level
• Demonstrate the ability to share exemplary teaching practices
• Display a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with colleagues, students and parents
• Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding learning and teaching
• Show aspiration to work in a world-class school with strong prospects for career development
• Be willing to contribute positively to school life through active participation in the extra-curricular programme and community events
