The role

We are seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher for the academic year 2026/27 at Al Maharat Private School. The successful candidate will teach Computing within the UK-IGCSE curriculum to High/Secondary School students on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons aligned with the UK-IGCSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that cater to diverse student needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience in Computing or related subjects at secondary or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus.
• Proficiency in programming languages, software applications, and current computing technologies.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Good communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
