Cover Supervisor

The role

Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form in Essex seeks a Cover Supervisor to work 30 hours per week, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time plus inset days. The position is permanent.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers and provide classroom-based support. You will implement lesson instructions provided by the teacher and maintain good order, ensuring students remain on task so that learning continues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general classroom-based support
