Deputy Head Teacher - Primary
The School of Research Science(SRS) is an outstanding BSO approved international school that provides a high-quality education, meeting the needs of a diverse range of students. We deliver the British National and American Curriculum to an increasing population of 4000 plus students from FS to Year 13, leading to GCSE, IGCSE, BTEC and AS/A2 qualifications.
We are looking to appoint for August 2026 an innovative, strong, hardworking and talented Primary Deputy Head Teacher to lead on raising achievement and enhancing student personal development in our school. You will also be line managing mathematics and other specified curriculum departments to ensure the quality of education is outstanding.
Successful applicants will in collaboration with the Senior Management team to ensure outstanding outcomes for their students.
You will be an outstanding leader and have a proven record of having significant impact in your current post. You must have the drive and experience to secure outstanding outcomes through creative and innovative approaches to leading others. Candidate Responsibilities include:
We require a highly effective leader to drive teaching and learning, curriculum development, and overall standards across the Primary School.
A well-developed knowledge, deep understanding, and proven expertise in primary pedagogy, assessment, and curriculum coherence and sequencing are essential.
These areas form the core responsibilities within leadership and management for this role.
Position Requirements:
Education:
PGCE, QTS or/and any Leadership Certification
Experience:
Three or four years of school management/leadership in a similar setting.
Competencies & Skills:
Knowledge of international accreditation, inspection and evaluation frameworks
Experience in child protection, health and safety
Experience in developing, planning and delivering excellent provision
Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders
Display a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibility
Collaborative team player and strategic thinker
