Design and IT Teacher Basic
The role
Raoul Wallenberg International School is seeking a creative, organised and forward-thinking Design and IT Teacher to develop Design and digital learning in the middle school. The role currently focuses on Grades 6-8 and will support students in becoming confident, responsible and independent users of technology.
This is a key opportunity to help build a developing programme. The successful candidate will teach Design and IT, set up the Design Lab, embed digital organisation skills into the curriculum, and support consistent use of Google Classroom, Google Workspace and school devices.
RWIS continues to grow by adding one additional grade level each year. As the Secondary School expands, this role will grow with it, including the future development of curriculum, systems, equipment and learning spaces for additional grade levels.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Design and IT to students in Grades 6-8.
- Set up and manage the Design Lab.
- Embed digital organisation skills into the curriculum.
- Support consistent use of Google Classroom, Google Workspace and school devices.
- Contribute to the future development of curriculum, systems, equipment and learning spaces as the school expands.
