About the school

Endeavour Academy is a community special school for ages 3-19, focusing on complex learning, ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs. The academy operates across two sites in Nottinghamshire: Churchmoor for Primary to Key Stage 3 and Sherbrook Road for Key Stage 4 and Post-16. There are currently 105 students on roll.

The academy delivers a broad curriculum that develops tolerance and understanding of others alongside valuable life skills, enabling children and young people to live as independently as possible.

This opportunity is with Nexus Multi Academy Trust, an award-winning trust founded in 2016 that comprises 19 unique SEND and mainstream academies. The trust follows a shared ethos of personalised, child-centred approaches and the principle of learning together to be the best we can be.

The role

Endeavour Academy seeks a Design Technology Lead Teacher to join an existing, dynamic team dedicated to supporting children and young people with complex needs. The post is full time and permanent, comprising 32.5 hours per week during term time plus five inset days.

The salary is paid on the MPS/UPS scale (£32,916 - £51,048) plus an SEN allowance of £2,787.
