The role

Deira International School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Design & Technology teacher to join the team in August 2026. This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly successful DT department while supporting the broader ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology up to iGCSE at Key Stage 4 and IB or A-Level at Key Stage 5, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and fostering creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Experience teaching GCSE Design & Technology is essential; A Level or IB experience is desirable.
• A B.Ed. or degree in a related subject and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, with exceptional subject knowledge.
• A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• A mindset that understands all students have the potential for top performance, with the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
• Experience that will enable a contribution to the enriched curriculum programme.
