The role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative Secondary Design & Technology Teacher for an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, nurture and inspire students, and maintain a positive learning environment while working within an energetic and welcoming team.

Key responsibilities

• Support, observe and record the progress of students.
• Plan lessons in line with school and curriculum objectives to ensure a healthy culture of learning.
• Develop curricula that cover a broad range of subjects while maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge in line with curriculum requirements.
• Enthuse and motivate students to strive for success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design & Construction or a related subject.
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject, following the UK National Curriculum.
• UK teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
• Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis and differentiation for students.
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
• Proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through high-quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to use data effectively to monitor and enhance student progress.
