The role
Bloom World Academy seeks a creative and expert Drama Teacher to join in Academic Year 2026/2027. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to developing international mindedness and will support a student-centred, inquiry-based learning approach. You will plan rich, engaging and challenging learning experiences, use assessment effectively and stretch students of all abilities to achieve outstanding outcomes. Experience of the IB programme is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Proficient or advanced-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Drama or a related subject, together with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- Experience in IB or GCSE subject-specific teaching
- A minimum of three years’ teaching experience in a reputable school
- A proven track record of securing outstanding student results
- Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment and integrity
- Inter-cultural awareness and well-developed communication skills, with enthusiasm for engaging students and parents
