The role

The successful candidate will create a warm, engaging and stimulating learning environment while supporting children’s development and introducing Spanish language and culture through meaningful, age-appropriate experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Introduce Spanish through songs, stories, games, conversations and everyday activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical and language development.
• Observe, assess and document children’s progress.
• Adapt activities to meet individual children’s learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team.
• Participate in events, activities and the wider life of the nursery.
• Follow EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety, and Kids First Group policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or a relevant field.
• Relevant Early Years or Teaching qualification is preferred.
• Fluent Spanish speaker with strong communication skills.
• Minimum two years’ experience working with young children.
• Good understanding of EYFS and early childhood development.
• Creative, energetic, patient and nurturing.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• UAE nursery experience is preferred.
