The role

Garden City British School seeks an English Subject Teacher for Years 6–9 (Grades 5–8) to join a thriving team from 30 September 2026. The successful candidate will create an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment and demonstrate a deep understanding of personalised learning.

Requirements

• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialising in English Education, or
• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an English National Curriculum subject together with a PGCE or PGDE in English, or
• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an aspect of English Education with QTS
• Two supporting references and a police clearance certificate or DBS no more than three months old

Joint honours degrees that include theology, criminology or religious education will not be accepted. Post-qualification teaching experience is not required.
