The role

As an English Teacher at OneSchool Global UK Hindhead Campus in Surrey, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students build confidence and achieve strong outcomes in GCSE English. You will join a forward-thinking educational environment that embraces modern teaching methods and technology, including online learning tools and video conferencing. The school’s approach encourages students to take ownership of their learning, allowing teachers to focus on high-quality teaching and meaningful student engagement. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4 in English.
• Support students to build confidence and achieve strong GCSE outcomes.
• Embrace modern teaching methods and technology-enabled learning platforms.
• Encourage student ownership of learning within a calm, technology-enabled environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree or equivalent qualification.
• Recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.
• A strong understanding of the GCSE English National Curriculum.
• Confidence using modern educational technology and digital learning platforms.
• A willingness to embrace innovative teaching approaches beyond traditional classroom methods.
• A passion for making a positive impact within a supportive independent school community.
