The role

Garden City British School seeks a female Computing/ICT Teacher to join its thriving team from 24 August 2026. The successful candidate will teach students from Y1 to Y9 and will demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring, child-centred learning environment. Teachers are expected to be highly motivated exemplary practitioners with a deep understanding of personalised learning and a commitment to ongoing school improvement within an innovative and creative setting.

Requirements

• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialising in IT or Computer Science Education, or
• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an ENC subject together with an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in IT or Computer Science Education, or
• An internationally recognised Master’s Degree in an aspect of IT or Computer Science plus one year of teaching experience as an ICT/Computer Science Teacher.
• Candidates whose education was completed in a language other than English must provide proof of English language proficiency (minimum IELTS 5.5 or equivalent).
• Two supporting references and a police clearance certificate or DBS no more than three months old must be provided.
