The role

Al Rabeeh Academy seeks an experienced and passionate Arabic-speaking Female PE Teacher to join its team immediately. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality physical education lessons in line with the English National Curriculum, promote health, fitness and wellbeing, and inspire students to develop a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. The role includes fostering a positive, inclusive and disciplined learning environment and contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular sports and competitive events.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured PE lessons that promote active and healthy lifestyles.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe sporting environment that encourages participation, teamwork and student wellbeing.
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor, track and report on students’ physical development and skills progression.
• Contribute to PE planning, curriculum development and collaboration across key stages.
• Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, fixtures, tournaments and whole-school sporting events.
• Support the pastoral development of students, modelling positive behaviour, resilience and sportsmanship.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
• Participate actively in school events, professional learning and wider school initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent Arabic speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree in PE or a relevant subject with PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
