The role
Al Rabeeh Academy seeks an experienced and passionate Arabic-speaking Female PE Teacher to join its team immediately. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality physical education lessons in line with the English National Curriculum, promote health, fitness and wellbeing, and inspire students to develop a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. The role includes fostering a positive, inclusive and disciplined learning environment and contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular sports and competitive events.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured PE lessons that promote active and healthy lifestyles.
- Create a positive, inclusive and safe sporting environment that encourages participation, teamwork and student wellbeing.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor, track and report on students’ physical development and skills progression.
- Contribute to PE planning, curriculum development and collaboration across key stages.
- Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, fixtures, tournaments and whole-school sporting events.
- Support the pastoral development of students, modelling positive behaviour, resilience and sportsmanship.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
- Participate actively in school events, professional learning and wider school initiatives.
Requirements
- Fluent Arabic speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in PE or a relevant subject with PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
