Female Teacher of PE

 

Reports to: Lead PE Teacher

Start date: September 2026

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £41,328 - £53,606 (Ark Main Pay Scale AM1-AM6)

Working hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Closing Date: Friday, 17th April 2026

 

The Role:

You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. As a knowledgeable and passionate PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

 

·         Excellent classroom teacher with the ability to reflect on lessons and continually improve own practice.

·         A commitment to teaching PE at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

·         Effective and systematic behaviour management, with clear boundaries, sanctions, praise and rewards.

·         Ability to understand and interpret pupil data to drive lesson planning and pupil attainment.

·         Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.

·         Ability to prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

·         Commitment to regular and on-going professional development and training to establish outstanding classroom practice.
