The role

École Jeannine Manuel seeks a full-time English-speaking Chemistry Teacher to start in September 2026 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of educators committed to nurturing curiosity, academic rigor, and student well-being in a truly international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry and Science to middle and/or high school students in English, notably in the context of the IB diploma.
• Contribute to the development of engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary learning.
• Participate actively in the broader life of the school, including meetings, projects, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in English.
• Degree in Chemistry or a related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred).
• Teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural community.
• International teaching experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based or bilingual education is an advantage.
