About the school

Established in 1988, Saint George's School is a private school located in Fornells de la Selva, Girona. The school uses English as the main teaching language throughout its educational process and covers all levels: Nursery/preschool, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate. The educational model provides linguistic immersion in English while following the framework set by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya (LOMLOE). Education focuses on the child as the centre of their own learning, with personalised attention, multi-level programmes, project-based work, entrepreneurship and creativity skills, and cross-curricular technology programmes.

The role

We are seeking a full-time Early Years Teacher to join our established team of dedicated professionals. The position has an immediate start. Applicants must have the right to work in Spain, most commonly through residency or an EU passport. Applicants holding a British passport are not automatically eligible to work in Spain.

Requirements

• Early Years Teaching qualification
• Native-level English
• Eligibility to work in Spain (EU passport/status or TIE)
• Prior experience in Early Years
• Experience of teaching pupils whose first language is not English
• Ability to focus children on their learning by delivering engaging lessons
• Motivated and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to join an established team
