About the school

Established in 1988, Saint George’s School is a private school located in Fornells de la Selva, Girona. The school uses English as the main teaching language throughout its educational process and covers all levels from Nursery and Preschool through to Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate. The educational model provides linguistic immersion in English while following the framework of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya (LOMLOE).

Education is centred on the child as the driver of their own learning, with personalised attention and multi-level programmes. The role

We are seeking a full-time Primary teacher to join our established team of dedicated professionals. Applicants must have the right to work in Spain; this commonly requires residency in Spain or an EU passport. British passport holders are not automatically eligible to work in Spain.

Requirements

• Primary teaching qualification
• Native-level English
• Eligibility to work in Spain (EU passport or status, or TIE)
• Prior experience teaching pupils in Primary
• Experience teaching pupils whose first language is not English
• Ability to focus children on their learning through engaging lessons
• Motivated and enthusiastic approach
