The role

Garden City British School seeks a Head of Department (Female Only) – EYFS (FS1 – FS2) to join the team from 30 September 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment and will be highly motivated as an exemplary practitioner with a deep understanding of personalised learning.

Requirements

• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialising in Early Childhood/Primary Education, or
• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an ENC subject together with an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Early Childhood/Primary Education, or
• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an aspect of Early Childhood/Primary Education with QTS
• Two supporting references and a police clearance certificate or DBS no more than three months old
• Commitment to ongoing school improvement and comfort in a climate of innovative and creative development

Joint honours degrees that include theology, criminology or religious education will not be accepted. Post-qualification teaching experience is not required.
