The role

We are seeking a Head of Science to join the school in August 2026. This position offers experienced teachers the opportunity to advance their careers within a world-class international school. The successful candidate will lead the Science department while contributing to the wider school community through teaching excellence and active participation in extracurricular and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely intervention and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to promote a cohesive educational experience.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Science with PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.
• Demonstrate a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents.
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching.
