About the school

The role

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to fulfil the duties of a Teaching Assistant while taking on greater responsibility within the SEND department. The post holder will support students to achieve their best academically and to thrive within the school. There is the opportunity to complete the HLTA qualification through Best Practice Network after a successful probation period.

Requirements

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including an Enhanced DBS check
• Understanding of and compliance with policies relating to child protection, health and safety, security and confidentiality
• Ability to report concerns appropriately
