The role

Arcadia British School seeks an experienced Secondary Humanities Teacher and Head of Geography to join the team in August 2026. The successful candidate will work alongside other experienced team members to promote the strategic vision of the school and will be capable of teaching across all secondary Key Stages and up to A Level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the humanities subjects or a similar subject qualification, together with a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Qualified teacher with 2-5 years of experience delivering the National Curriculum for England up to A Level.
  • Committed professionals dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the school’s vision, mission and values.
  • Outstanding practitioners able to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thinking initiatives.
  • Teachers with a natural desire to learn, contribute to and participate in the school’s Professional Learning Community.

  • Professionals who work collaboratively within the immediate team and across the wider school community.
