The role

ICS Côte d’Azur seeks an IB English Teacher for Early Years and Primary to deliver creative, engaging teaching within a 50/50 bilingual French-English programme. The position is full-time and permanent, commencing 19 August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver creative and engaging IB teaching in a bilingual environment.
• Collaborate with the partner-language teacher to implement the 50/50 bilingual programme.
• Design and implement innovative programmes incorporating STEAM principles.
• Plan and lead educational activities that promote outdoor learning.
• Adapt learning activities to meet curriculum requirements and ensure all students achieve their objectives.
• Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback and implement intervention strategies when required.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment that values every student.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year’s teaching experience.
• Valid teaching certification.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for education and commitment to holistic student development.
• Knowledge of learner-centred and experiential teaching approaches.
• Legal right to work in France; employment subject to satisfactory criminal background checks.
