The role
Amity International School Amsterdam seeks a motivated IT Support Technician to join its team on a 36–40 hour per week basis. The position is open to candidates already living and eligible to work in the Netherlands and is suitable for a new graduate. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support to staff and students while assisting with the maintenance of school systems and devices in a dynamic international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to staff and students
- Assist in managing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange
- Support user account and device management through Entra ID and Intune
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues
- Support and maintain the Student Information System (iSAMS)
- Assist with device setup and deployment across Windows, iOS and macOS platforms
- Work with a variety of systems and tools used across the school
Requirements
- Self-driven and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Solid IT knowledge of Windows, iOS and macOS
- Familiarity with device management via Intune and/or JAMF, or a willingness to learn
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 and Exchange fundamentals
- Experience with Entra ID and administrative environments
- Experience with School Management Information Systems, timetabling software and data import processes is preferred
- Experience with iSAMS is a strong advantage
- Ability to navigate different systems quickly and adapt as required
- Good communication skills in an international setting
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
