The role
Garden City British School seeks a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher (Year 1/KG2) to join the team from 24 August 2026. The successful candidate will create an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment and demonstrate a deep understanding of personalised learning.
Requirements
- An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialising in Early Childhood Education, or
- An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an Early National Curriculum subject together with an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Early Childhood Education, or
- An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in an aspect of Early Childhood Education with QTS
- Joint honours degrees that include theology, criminology or religious education are not accepted
- Two supporting references and a police clearance certificate or DBS no more than three months old
- Candidates travelling without dependents benefit most from the package

- Tax-free monthly salary starting at AED 9,000 for newly qualified teachers meeting minimum requirements and rising to AED 12,000 for candidates with two or more years of English National Curriculum experience
