The role

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the dedicated and successful Modern Foreign Languages department as a Spanish Language Assistant. The position is required as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fluent Spanish speaker to play a key role in helping GCSE students enhance their spoken Spanish and overall language skills.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 5-6 hours of oral lessons weekly.

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish speaker.
• Committed and passionate approach to language teaching.
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
• Acceptance that the role carries a high level of safeguarding responsibilities, with full safeguarding checks to be carried out on the successful candidate.
• Understanding that the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
