About the school

Endeavour Academy is a community special school for pupils aged 3 to 19, specialising in complex learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs. The academy operates across two sites in Nottinghamshire: Churchmoor for Primary to Key Stage 3 and Sherbrook Road for Key Stage 4 and Post-16. There are currently 105 pupils on roll.

The academy is part of Nexus Multi Academy Trust, an award-winning organisation comprising 19 SEND and mainstream academies. The Trust is committed to a personalised, child-centred approach and the shared ethos of “Learning together, to be the best we can be”.

The role

We are seeking a Lead Teacher of Physical Education to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent position of 32.5 hours per week during term time plus five inset days. The post is offered on the MPS/UPS scale plus SEN allowance, with a salary range of £32,916 to £51,048 plus £2,787 SEN allowance.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive and dynamic team focused on helping every pupil achieve their potential and develop the life skills needed for greater independence.
