Learning Support Assistant

The role

Hazelwick School seeks engaging and motivated Learning Support Assistants to join its existing team. The role will largely involve supporting students in lessons and may also include some 1:1 or small group work with students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects
• Deliver targeted 1:1 or small-group interventions as required
• Assist with the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills

Requirements

• A good standard of education
• IT literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Classroom experience or experience of working with young people is advantageous
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Benefits & package

• Grade 4 salary of £16,472 per annum inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement
• 27 hours and 30 minutes per week, term time only
• Working hours of 8.55am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
• Support and training provided as necessary
