About the school

JFS is a voluntary-aided school of over 2,000 students, including a thriving Sixth Form of over 550 students. It is one of the top schools in the country for both attainment and progress. Recently named the Sunday Times State Faith School of the Year 2025, students excel academically with well over 50 percent of all grades at 7+ at GCSE and nearly 60 percent of all grades at A or A* at A-level.

The role

JFS seeks a Geography specialist to join the school for a September or January start. The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner, a passionate advocate for the subject and driven to develop students creative and technical capabilities.

The school welcomes applications from NQTs through to experienced teachers seeking a Lead Practitioner position. Applicants should possess a clear vision of what constitutes a superb classroom and be ready to embrace new challenges.
