The role

Wales International School is seeking a motivated and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join the Secondary team. The position covers Years 7 to 13 and follows the British (UK National Curriculum). This is a fixed-term contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (QTS or equivalent preferred)
• Recognised teaching qualification
• At least one year of teaching experience in a secondary setting
• Confident knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary Mathematics
• Experience teaching across a range of secondary year groups is an advantage
• Strong classroom management and the ability to support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, including EAL learners
• Proficient in using digital tools to support learning, including Google Classroom and Google Meet
• Genuinely passionate about Mathematics and student achievement
• Committed to high expectations and continuous improvement
• Collaborative and willing to contribute to department and whole-school priorities
• Reflective practitioner who engages positively with professional development and quality assurance processes
• Respectful of and responsive to the needs of an international, multicultural school community
