Maths Teacher Basic
About the school
Compass Community School Mountfields Park is part of Compass Community, an organisation that puts children first through a therapeutic and innovative approach. Integrity, Courage and Care shape daily work. Staff listen deeply, challenge each other and fix what needs fixing together.
Children come from a wide range of backgrounds but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties. The school is a trauma and attachment informed organisation that provides extensive therapeutic training and support to all staff. A closely triangulated approach places the child at the centre of decision making, ensuring education and therapy professionals, parents and carers, local authority teams and students work together to secure outstanding outcomes.
