The role

We are seeking an outstanding Music Teacher to join the secondary team at GEMS Wellington Academy - Silicon Oasis from January 2027. The successful candidate will teach Music to KS4 and KS5 students and will contribute to the school’s commitment to exceptional learning and teaching.

Requirements

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
• Have proven experience of teaching Music to KS4/KS5 or equivalent
• Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate and share outstanding practice
• Possess a growth mindset, being reflective and solution-focused
• Be creative and enthusiastic in their approach to teaching
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching
