The role

ABC British Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will inspire a love of music, develop students' creativity and confidence, and deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation and musical achievement across the primary phase.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Music lessons to Primary students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can develop their musical talents.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Organise and support school performances, assemblies, concerts, and other musical events.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and support student development.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Music or a related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Music within a Primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners through music.
• Experience delivering the English National Curriculum is desirable.
• Ability to meet ADEK requirements, including qualification attestation and equivalency where applicable.
