The role
The British School of Costa Daurada seeks a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Secondary PE Teacher to join its growing team on a part-time basis from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 to KS5, following the British curriculum.
The role requires a passion for Physical Education and sport, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities to develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and healthy living while contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3โKS5, following the British curriculum.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular sport and school competitions.
- Support and contribute to the wider PE and enrichment programme.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching approaches and technology where appropriate.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, motivation and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field.
- PGCE in PE with QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Right to work in Spain.
- Previous experience teaching PE at secondary level, including KS4 and KS5.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for sport and physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities and to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
