The role

We are seeking an outstanding Performing Arts Teacher to join the team from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that foster creativity, confidence and a love of performance. You will develop students’ skills across the Performing Arts curriculum and create an inclusive, dynamic learning environment that enables all students to thrive and achieve their potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons that inspire creativity and build student confidence.
• Develop students’ skills across the Performing Arts curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment where all students can achieve their potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through productions, performances, enrichment activities and community engagement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Drama or a related subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Drama and the Performing Arts.
• A commitment to outstanding teaching and learning and raising student achievement.
• The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships across the school community.
