Peripatetic Music Teacher (Trombone) Basic

The role

Rugby School seeks to appoint a peripatetic music teacher for trombone to teach individual students of all abilities. Opportunities may also exist to coach ensembles. The successful candidate will play an active role in concerts and events throughout the year relevant to their specialism.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual trombone lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Coach ensembles as required.
• Contribute to concerts and events throughout the academic year.

Requirements

• Proven ability as a performer and teacher of trombone.
• Experience teaching students across a range of abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers, online searches and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
