The role

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls is seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher for Secondary students with expertise in swimming instruction. The ideal candidate will design and implement age-appropriate PE programs, fostering students’ physical development, coordination, and love for sports. We are looking for great classroom practitioners with experience in either UK or US curricula who are keen to develop as teachers, gain new understandings, and embrace the culture of the UAE. Due to the unique nature of the school, applications are accepted from female candidates only.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate PE programs for Secondary students
• Foster students’ physical development, coordination, and love for sports
• Deliver expert swimming instruction as part of the PE curriculum

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education, Sports Science, or a related field accompanied by a PGCE
• Certification in swimming instruction
• Proven experience teaching PE and swimming to children
