The role
Due to the continued success of the school, GEMS Founders School Dubai is seeking to recruit a Physical Education Teacher to join in January 2027. The position is based in the Secondary School and offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with a strong culture of academic ambition and high expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a recognised Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Enthusiasm for developing teaching practice and growing within a supportive school environment.
- A genuine passion for PE, committed to inspiring students and creating engaging, challenging learning experiences.
- Experience or knowledge of teaching GCSE and/or A-Level, with an understanding of curriculum and examination requirements.
- Strong knowledge of effective teaching, assessment and differentiation strategies to support the progress and achievement of all students.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging and challenging learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their potential.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills, with a positive approach to working with colleagues, students and the wider school community.
