The role
The International School Eindhoven is seeking a Physical Health Education Teacher for a part-time replacement appointment (0.8 FTE) starting November 2025. The successful candidate will create a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students develop their physical skills, personal well-being and understanding of healthy lifestyles. Through active lessons and positive reinforcement, the teacher will inspire students to take ownership of their physical development and collaborate effectively with others.
As part of a supportive team, the teacher will contribute to the wider school community and work closely with colleagues to deliver the Physical Health Education curriculum in line with the school’s educational philosophy.

- Inspire students to take ownership of their physical development through active lessons and positive reinforcement
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school community
Requirements
- Relevant degree and a DUO-recognised teaching qualification
- Eligibility to work in the EU
- Understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to embrace the conceptual approach and innovative practices of the IB MYP
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different Humanities disciplines
- Skill in using differentiation effectively to support students with varying abilities

- Salary grading in scale LB (minimum €3,301 – maximum €5,277) in accordance with the collective agreement for secondary education (CAO VO)
