The role

We are seeking an outstanding Physics Teacher to join the team at GEMS Wellington Academy - Al Khail. The position is available from August 2026 or January 2027. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for outstanding learning and teaching, translate evidence-informed practice into the classroom, and uphold the core values of Ambition, Responsibility and Courage.

Requirements

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Secondary teaching
• Experience of teaching the British curriculum to GCSE and A Level (KS3/4/5)
• Exceptional subject knowledge
• Experience of working within a high-performing teaching team
• A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
• At least two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England
