The role

The school seeks an experienced, dynamic and collaborative Secondary Physics Teacher for an August 2026 start. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, nurture and inspire students, and maintain a healthy learning environment while working within an energetic and welcoming team.

Key responsibilities

• Support, observe and record the progress of the class.
• Plan lessons in line with school and curriculum objectives to ensure a healthy culture of learning.
• Plan curricula across the subjects offered and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and understanding in accordance with curriculum requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related subject.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject following the UK National Curriculum.
• UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE or QTS).
• Knowledge of data disaggregation, analysis and differentiation for students.
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
• Proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through high-quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to use data effectively to monitor and enhance student progress.
