Physics Teacher (Sharjah Campus)

The role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physics Teacher to join the Science Department at Sharjah American International School. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure students achieve their full academic potential in accordance with curriculum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the Science Department to enhance the curriculum.
• Ensure a safe and productive laboratory environment for practical experiments.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics is mandatory.
• A recognised Teaching Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• A valid IELTS Certificate with a minimum score of 6.5 (for subject teachers).
• Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level is preferred.
