The role
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Physics teacher to join our online school, with the ability to teach Physics up to Year 13. This is a fully remote position based in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will work from home, with the option of a hybrid model when required to meet in the region. Priority will be given to candidates already based in the region or with experience of living in the UAE.
You will be part of our Universal Timetable, teaching students largely from the Middle East but also from Southeast Asia and the UK. Live teaching will typically start at 5am UAE time and finish at approximately 1.30pm UAE time, although some days may involve an earlier or later start and finish.

Contract: 2 year fixed-term

Salary: Competitive basic salary (AED)
Key responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students.
- Deliver quality-first teaching as the central focus of all tasks.
- Support the self-evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and contribute to the development of improvement priorities.
- Maintain and develop a high-quality school environment and profile, acting as a professional role model at all times.
- Promote the general progress and wellbeing of individual students and classes.
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and wellbeing matters.
- Prepare assessments, reports and references relating to students in a timely manner.
- Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders to support the best possible outcomes for students.
- Undertake any other duties as specified by the line manager.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of working in the primary, secondary or college sector, in either state or independent schools.
- Proven ability to create high-quality resources and enhance course delivery.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence in teaching online using technology applications.
- Expertise in engaging students in Physics and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- A keen interest in online teaching and learning, with a passion for student development.
- A flexible, energetic approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing, collaborative environment.
