The role
The British International School Abu Dhabi seeks an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Physics Teacher to join its team. The successful candidate will inspire a love of learning, maintain high standards of teaching and pastoral care, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school. The school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. Classroom resources are plentiful and expectations for student achievement are high. Building positive relationships with parents is essential to maximising student progress.
Requirements
- Strong experience of the IB Diploma Programme and the UK national curriculum
- Passion for continuous professional improvement and a positive mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Commitment to participating fully in the extra-curricular life of the school
- Flexibility and open-mindedness to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment
- Further experience of international education is an advantage
