The role
We are seeking reflective, knowledgeable, and innovative KS2 teachers who care deeply about high-quality teaching and learning, believe in structure alongside student agency, are excited by project-based and mastery-based learning, and see themselves as contributors to a school’s growth. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS2 class, design rich learning experiences aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum, and work collaboratively with colleagues to shape the school’s evolving practice.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver strong, well-sequenced KS2 instruction with clear learning goals.
- Design and facilitate authentic, project-based learning experiences.
- Balance academic rigor with creativity, discussion, and exploration.
- Support students’ social-emotional development using Positive Discipline.
- Use assessment thoughtfully to inform teaching and support individual learners.
- Work closely with families in a genuine home–school partnership.
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
- Hold a recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Have KS2 classroom experience as homeroom teacher (international experience is a plus).
- Native-level English fluency.
- Experience with mastery-based learning, Singapore Math, and Socratic Seminars.
- Value professionalism, preparation, and pedagogical depth.
- Be reflective, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Be excited by the idea of teaching surrounded by and in nature.
