About the school
Coruña British International School is a highly distinguished British international school and the first in the city to gain NABSS accreditation. The school’s curriculum has been fully approved by both the Galician Government and the British Council and is considered one of the foremost British schools in the Galicia region, alongside its sister school in Vigo. Founded more than eight years ago, this progressive school with strong family values delivers the English National Curriculum to students aged three to fourteen, following the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum.

The role
We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Teacher to join our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field such as Early Years or Childhood Studies.
- Qualified Teacher Status or an internationally recognised primary teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within a British or international curriculum.
- Strong understanding of UK primary curriculum expectations for core and foundation subjects.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that support a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Experience assessing pupil progress, using data to inform planning and providing high-quality feedback to pupils and families.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Confidence supporting pupils with diverse language backgrounds, including those with English as an Additional Language.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team-based, international environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
