The role

As a Primary Teacher, you will shape an engaging, nurturing and ambitious learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum that reflects National Curriculum requirements and the ethos of the school. Through clear objectives, creative teaching strategies and purposeful classroom management, you will inspire curiosity, encourage progress and create meaningful learning experiences. You will monitor achievement closely, using assessment to inform future planning and ensure continuity and progression. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to staff development, engage with parents, support safeguarding responsibilities and work collaboratively with colleagues.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a start date of 31/08/2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum aligned with National Curriculum requirements.
  • Use clear objectives, creative teaching strategies and purposeful classroom management to inspire curiosity and progress.
  • Monitor pupil achievement through assessment and use data to inform future planning.
  • Ensure continuity and progression in learning for all pupils.
  • Participate in staff development and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Engage positively with parents and support the school's safeguarding responsibilities.
